The CCMAs Reveal 2020 Winners

Over the weekend the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMAs) celebrated the best in country music with the 2020 CCMA Awards. Seven artist-category awards were handed out at the CCMA Music Industry Awards on Saturday, and eight additional awards were handed out Sunday during the broadcast on Global TV. The 2020 CCMA Awards were filmed over the course of four days earlier this summer in Ontario and Nashville.  

Tenille Townes, Dallas Smith, and Brett Kissel each took home multiple awards. Tenille Townes accepted awards in the Female Artist of the Year, Songwriter(s) of the Year, and Video of the Year categories. Dallas Smith took home both the Top Selling Canadian Album of the Year award, and Top Selling Canadian Single of the Year, plus the TD Entertainer of the Year award for the second year in a row. Brett Kissel landed wins in the Creator Director(s) of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and for the second year in a row he took home Fans’ Choice.  

CCMA performances included Tebey and Marie Mai, Meghan Patrick, Jojo Mason, The Reklaws, Jade Eagleson, Mackenzie Porter, Don Amero and more.
