The War and Treaty announced their "Hey Driver Drop Me Off Anywhere in Canada Tour" beginning February 4 in Vancouver with dates in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario and Quebec throughout the rest of the month.

Just For Laughs Vancouver will return February 12-22, 2026. The lineup announced this week includes Laura Ramos, Lucy Darling, Brent Butt, Jimbo, Ola Dada, Tranna Wintour, and tons of local showcases.

The International Folk Music Awards has announced the Edmonton Folk Music Festival will be honoured with the Clearwater Award for its decades-long commitment to environmental stewardship and leadership in sustainable event production.

The Canadian Country Music Association has announced that Country Music Week 2026 will take place September 16-19 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The 2026 CCMA Awards will close out the weekend at SaskTel Centre on Saturday, September 19 and be available to watch live on CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app and streaming on Crave the next day. Tickets are on sale today at 10am CST. 

Award-winning comedian Ron James presents his first streaming special The View from Here tonight. In this 90-minute special live from the Bluma Appel Theatre in Toronto, Ron finds the funny in the 'next door neighbour' we once knew, now under the iron rule of a tyrannical orange tool. The special streams live on November 28 at 7:30pm EST; ticket buyers have 24 hours to view the stream to address the different time zones. The 38th edition of Weesageechak Begins to Dance will host their Music and Comedy Night on November 29 at Aki Studio in Toronto. Hosted by Meg MacKay the night will feature Yolanda Bonnell, Cale Crowe, Evan Redsky, and Warren Mason.

Award winning singer songwriter Tenille Townes released her new holiday EP, Heart of the Holidays, on November 21. The three-song collection features the new title track along with “Auld Lang Syne” and “Go Tell It on the Mountain.” Tenille will hit the road on The Living Room Tour in Spring 2026 including two performances with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra on April 23 & 25, 2026.

Country Music Alberta announced the 2026 Hall of Fame Inductees will include Wendy Daniel in the Builder category and Terri Clark in the Artist category. "These two trailblazing women have each made remarkable and lasting contributions to country music in Alberta, across Canada, and beyond." Country Music Alberta will formally recognize Wendy Daniel and Terri Clark as Hall of Fame inductees at the 15th Annual Country Music Alberta Awards on March 22, 2026.

Canadian comedian and actor Nate Friedman will host the world premiere of his short film The Hand Model at Carlton Cinema in Toronto on December 11, 2025.

The final 2025 Spotlight at The Second City showcase will feature Andy Assaf & Vivek Srikanthan, and Glen & Vinny (Ben Kopp and Calvin Rea), on December 9-10 at The Second City’s Theatre ‘73 in Toronto.

Palestianian comedian Atheer Yacoub will perform in Toronto on Dec 4-5 at The Second City followed by Montreal on December 6 at Théâtre Sainte-Catherine.
