Eh Material: The Office Movers Season 2 Premieres Nov 7
The Office Movers returns for a second season on Friday, November 7 with all six episodes available on Crave. Created by and starring Brampton-born brothers Jermaine “Jae” and Trevaunn “Trey” Richards as Everett and Eric Saunders, with Heather Gallant as the long suffering administrator Carla, the new season was filmed and is set in the Toronto area. Season 2 features the brothers embroiled in bond-testing schemes, shady insurance scams, bogus grants, and rivalries with cutthroat family competitors. Jae and Trey still somehow have time to keep the gas pedal heavy on the always hilarious Random Order Show.
Mariel Buckley released their new album Strange Trip Ahead on October 17 on Birthday Cake Records. She will hit the road in the new year with fellow Canadian Matt Andersen starting January 24 in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia.
William Prince released his fifth LP, Further From the Country, on Six Shooter Records on October 17. After his return to the Grand Ole Opry on November 13, he will hit the road with Boy Golden in the new year starting in Saskatoon on February 28.
Canadian singer-songwriter Jessica Sevier kicks off her residency at Toronto’s The Cameron House this week and each Tuesday in November. Throughout the month she will be joined by guests including Blue Ridge Band, Ryan Langdon, Justin Legacy, and Jade Hilton. In addition to the residency, Sevier will open for Robyn Ottolini on November 13 in Oshawa and November 15 in Toronto and will release her new single "Panic Years" on November 21.

Luba Magnus has started a new comedy show at Trident Booksellers & Cafe in Halifax called Neon Sign. The first show on November 6 will include Kyle Barnet, Vanessa Allen, Joe Harfouche, Andrew Ivimey, and Nigel Grinstead.
The documentary Coexistence, My Ass! from comedian Noam Shuster Eliassi will screen at the Diaspora Film Festival in Toronto on November 8, and a repeat screening at Hot Docs Cinema on November 14.
The Yes, And… Laughter Lab announced Rob Michaels as a 2025 fellow, and Aditya Mayya as a 2025 Finalist. The Yes, And… Laughter is "a competitive incubation lab, pitch program, and festival that uplifts the best comedy writers and performers creating new comedy about topics that matter, with a focus on BIPOC, immigrant, Muslim, LGBTQ, and women creators." Following a three-day training weekend, the Fellows will perform and pitch original comedy ideas at the third annual YALL Comedy Fest from April 8-10, 2026 at Asylum NYC.
The Second City Toronto has announced frankly stunning casting for Rizz The Season, a new holiday show opening November 18. Directed by Nadine Djoury, Rizz The Season will star Ann Pornel, Michelle Hart, Zoe Marin, Alex Tindal, Ben Sosa Wright, and Franco Nguyen.
